Ask the world: prices, travel & web

Beyond your own calendar and notes, the assistant can pull live information from the outside world. Just ask in chat, on WhatsApp, or by email, and it returns real results with links where the source has them.

Grocery prices

Compare live prices across Woolworths, Coles, and Aldi in one query. You get prices and pack sizes side by side, usually with the price per unit ($/kg, $/100g) where the store publishes it, so you can cross-compare or build a shopping list.

  • “How much is a kilo of mince at Woolworths vs Coles?”
  • “Cheapest nappies across the big supermarkets right now”
Grocery lookups work in web chat, WhatsApp, and email. They also feed meal planning shopping lists.

Fuel prices

Get current unleaded and diesel pricing for stations near you, e.g. “cheapest unleaded near home” or “is it worth filling up before we drive to the snow?”

Weather

A short-term forecast for your location or any city you name: “will it rain during Saturday's game?”

Google Maps

Locations, opening hours, distances, and directions, returned with map links so you never leave the chat:

  • “What's the closest Woolworths to Liam's school?”
  • “How do I get to the Aquatic Centre from home?”
  • “What time does the sports store close today?”

Web search & reading pages

The assistant can search the web and read a specific page you give it, then summarise or pull out the bit you need:

  • “What's the public holiday schedule for Victoria this year?”
  • “Read this club page and tell me the registration deadline”

Flights & hotels

A dedicated travel assistant searches Google Flights and Google Hotels live, filters by stops, airlines, price, dates, and guests, and returns ranked results with a link to the same search on Google Flights or Google Hotels, where you can carry on and book. Prices show in your local currency.

  • “Cheapest weekend in June to fly Melbourne to Bali, 2 adults 1 kid”
  • “Family-friendly 4-star hotels in Gold Coast for the July holidays”
KinLife prices and shortlists travel, then hands you to the official booking flow to complete the purchase. It never books or pays on your behalf.

Calculations

For one-off number crunching the assistant can run a quick calculation for you, e.g. splitting a bill, converting units, or working out how much paint you need.
